Branch Manager – Gaylord, MI

The Branch Manager will provide leadership to the Gaylord, MI branch location.  This position will be responsible for supporting inside and outside sales to meet customer needs, managing all staff at that location, manage inventory levels, and promoting a safe collaborative work environment.  This will be a hands-on management position where you will work directly with customers and employees to ensure all aspects of sales and operations are functioning well.

Major Functions:

• Support the customer service representatives and outside sales force in servicing existing & prospective customers in a timely manner.
• Manage the development of and effectively coach employees.
• Hold weekly meetings to promote communication across departments and share goals and operational metrics.
• Manage inventory levels.
• Promote a safe work environment & compliance.
• Perform periodic performance reviews with employees and coach employees with the support/guidance of Corporate HR.

 Qualifications Needed:

• Must possess leadership and supervisory skills.
• Must be able to promote teamwork & motivate in a positive manner by leading meetings effectively & efficiently.
• Must possess problem solving and decision-making ability.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products.

Back Up Driver/Plant – Wyoming, MI

This position is primarily a Back Up Driver to our local drivers during PTO/sick time, delivering goods to customers, as well as loading and unloading interoffice/local trailers and assisting in HP Plant.

Cryogenic and Inter-Office Distribution Manager – Wyoming, MI

The Cryogenic and Inter-Office Distribution Manager is responsible for planning, forecasting, scheduling, and coordinating cryogenic bulk gas deliveries and inter-office truck shipments. This position leads, coaches, schedules, and holds cryogenic and inter-office drivers accountable while supporting safe, reliable, customer-focused distribution operations. The role requires strong communication, sound judgment, effective problem solving, and close coordination with drivers, customers, gas suppliers, production, location managers, sales, and service departments.

Service Technician – Wyoming MI

This employee is responsible for repairing and maintaining welding and cutting equipment owned by our customers or by Purity.

Essential Duties:

• Performs service work on Customer equipment onsite or offsite.
• Perform annual calibrations as needed by customers.
• Maintain Purity’s rental fleet of machines and equipment.
• Order parts from vendors as needed to completed repairs.
• Complete work orders for billing department and fill-out any other necessary paperwork.
• Attend selected service schools or online training as required.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Needed:

• High School or better diploma preferred.
• Two Years of prior mechanical, electrical and small engine repair experience.

Plant Production – Wyoming, MI

This Employee is responsible for filling cylinders, loading and unloading trailers and some driving of tractor trailer equipment around our lot.

Warehouse/BU Driver – Kalamazoo, MI

This employee is responsible for helping to load/unload transfer and route trucks, shipping/receiving, assisting walk-in cylinder exchanges, backup route driver, filling propane cylinders, inventory maintenance, and backup inside sales as needed.  This employee will also be needed in and must be willing to work out of the Battle Creek location at least one day per week.

• Works closely with route and transfer drivers to help load/unload trucks.
• Assist in the filling of propane cylinders.
• Assist the counter sales team as needed
• Inventory control of both hardgoods and cylinders.
• Have/obtain a Class A CDL and needed endorsements and be willing to deliver products as needed.
• Be willing and able to travel to the Battle Creek store to help in similar capacities.

Qualifications Needed:

• Aptitude – able to work as a team player, take pride in the quality of work produced, work with computers and compute numbers.

Bulk and Interoffice Driver – Wyoming, MI

This driver is responsible to pick up cryogenic gases and deliver to Purity plants and remote installations and/or to deliver cylinder gases and hardgoods to interoffice branches.

This position includes a very competitive compensation package that includes a competitive hourly rate, participation in the Company’s quarterly bonus program, and an opportunity for overtime hours.  Purity also offers a very competitive above market benefit package that includes health, dental, vision and other insurance options, and a very generous 401(k) program with both a Company matching amount and a year-end profit-sharing contribution.  This full-time hourly position is Sunday through Thursday with hours that typically range from 3:00PM to 2:00AM, which may vary based on workload and Company need.

Essential Duties:

• Pickup and deliver cryogenic bulk gases
• Deliver welding supplies and gases to branch facilities
• Drive multiple vehicles adhering to DOT rules and company guidelines
• All other duties as assigned
